Maverick H.O.G. is organizing an Honor Ride in partnership with Maverick Harley-Davidson and the Carrollton American Legion to honor a local resident and U.S. Army soldier killed in action during an Iranian attack at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Isabella Gonzales, a 19-year-old from Carrollton, TX graduated from Hebron High School in 2025 and served as a U.S. Army Private for the last year since graduation. City of Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick described Gonzales as being “full of life, youthful exuberance, and a desire to make a difference.”

Maverick H.O.G. has requested support through participation from as many local H.O.G. chapters as possible. As our sister Dealer Chapter, Longhorn H.O.G. has been asked to help with the event. We need commitment from a minimum of 8 Chapter members willing to help stage bikes in the morning and possibly assist with directing traffic upon the return. Road Captains may be needed to facilitate smaller pods of riders and to help comply with local traffic laws. Local PD escort is trying to be arranged but the short notice may present challenges. If you are able and willing to help help lead/sweep, please reach out to Ron Collier for coordination with Maverick.

I am hoping to see strong support for this fallen service member. Please make an effort to ride or cage to the event. However you arrive, the help will be greatly appreciated.

Arrival at Maverick by 08:30 AM for prep meeting with Maverick H.O.G.

The ride event is planned from 09:00 AM until 02:30 PM.
