About

This is a challenge that renews each quarter: after the coordinator identifies 3 letters for that quarter, select locations with signs that were erected by a governmental agency and that begin with those letters, then ride to those locations, take selfie photos there, and turn in the photos.

How to Play

Each quarter, after the ABC Challenge Coordinator identifies the 3 letters for that quarter, select 3 locations with either:

-  a mural on the side of a building that includes a city name that begins with one of the 3 letters, or

-  a sign that was erected by a governmental agency (like a city-limit sign, a sign on a city hall or post office, or a sign on a city school building - not a commercial enterprise) that includes a city or county name that begins with one of the 3 letters. 

One of the selected locations must include a name that begins with the first of the 3 letters, another location must include a name that begins with the second letter, and the third location must include a name that begins with the third letter.
  
Next, plan and complete one or more rides from your home to each of those locations (in any order you wish), and at each location, take a photo that includes you, your motorcycle, and a HOG magazine that is current for the quarter, with the selected location in the background.

Note that during any quarter, you may complete the ABC Challenge using the letters for that quarter, AND/OR you may complete the ABC Challenge for any previous quarter, using the letters for that quarter.  (The letters for past quarters are listed below.)

You may collect the photos in any order you wish, using as many rides as you wish.  As you ride, please collect your photos on your phone or camera, and give each one a name that identifies you, the year, and the quarter.  (A nifty way to do that is to incorporate your name and "YYYYQN" into the filename, where "YYYY" is the year and "N" is the quarter number (1, 2, 3, or 4).)  After you've collected and named all three photos, either send the photos to the ABC Challenge Coordinator, or post the photos in the website photo album, and tell the ABC Coordinator where to find them.
